Well I thought I had written a little something about the holidays but it looks like I was wrong. We went small with gifts this year but we went huge with family and friends. Turns out it was one of, if not my favorite holiday season yet. We went to Alabama for Thanksgiving and spent some time with momom and poppy at their cottage. We stayed at The Chestnut Bay Resort in the Squirrel Nest house. We had the best time, everything was so beautiful. We spent some priceless family time together. We were able to really enjoy all the beauty around us. Who would have every guessed we would have loved Alabama??

Back to School

We took full advantage of the summer all the way up to the last day. August 10th was the first day back to school. I was very sad not to have Tyler and Lauren with me to get their pictures. So here comes a new school year and we our all looking forward to a great year!

OMG Tyler's 14

We were able to spend some great time this summer with our family and great friends. It was so nice to be able to have some quality time with all of the people we love and care about so much. Chris had to work a lot so he didn't get as much time to enjoy everything as much as the kids and myself did. We still all had a great time though. Tyler turned 14 and was able to drive the skis by himself. Not before he took me for some serious wave jumping in the ocean. I don't know the last time I have been that scared but I will never forget how proud he was when we made it over the first big wave. Chelsea and Lauren both got their boating license too. They can drive with someone over 21 behind them until they turn 14. I rode with Chelsea and Chris rode a lot with Lauren. They are growing up to fast. Mikey was able to spend some time with us too. He had a hard few weeks though and that limited his time with us. We missed him a lot when he wasn't there. These will be some great memories for all of us. We has the perfect summer.
